Lose Weight Before Christmas Time!
With Christmas only a few weeks away, it is still not too late to lose those unwanted pounds and get fit for the festive season.
Before you start on an effective fat burning regime, you need to first get into the right state of mind and put your entire focus on your goal for the next few weeks.
And what is more - I am going to do it with you! I had surgery to pin my foot together after an accident, so put on a few pounds while I was out of action - so it's time for me to get back on the bike - literally!
Step 1
Set you fat burning goal.
How much weight do you REALISTICALLY want to shed before Christmas?
I am setting my target at one stone - roughly 2 pounds a week. My motivation will be how I will look and feel by the time Christmas arrives, and the fact that the timescale is short. You have to choose what will work for you
Step 2
Decide on your fat burning exercise programme. There are hundreds that you can choose from, so let me make it easy. Fat burning is best achieved through a combination of careful eating (note - not Dieting!) and an effective fat burning exercise programme. Head over to the website at the end of the article for a free video showing you how to do this:
Step 3
Having chosen an effective fat burning exercise process, now you need to make the right food choices. Aim to take at least 1200 calories a day, but you may need more depending on your size and metabolism. It has been proven that 1200 a day will assist the loss of about 2 pounds a week, without stressing your body or making you feel hungry.
So, what should you be eating?
Step 4
Monitor your progress. Keep a record of how you are getting on - otherwise how are you going to know!

It has been proven that 1200 a day will assist the loss of about 2 pounds a week, without stressing your body or making you feel hungry.
So, what should you be eating?
- Let's start by what you should avoid over the next few weeks. Steer clear of fat - obvious but necessary. So you will need to bin the chips, fried food and anything else with a high fat content.
- Look for lean meat and fish to provide you with the protein that you will need. Grilled chicken is also a great source of protein and like many of these types of lean food, will help you to feel fuller for longer and provide you with the fat burning fuel for your exercise regime
- Make sure you get your 5 a day - fruit and veg. If you feel the need to snack, use fruit as a healthy alternative to stuff like cake, biscuits and crisps.
- Stay hydrated. Often, when you feel hungry, you are in fact thirsty, so drink as much water as you need to stay fully hydrated. One delicious way to get the correct amount is to mix one part cranberry juice with four parts water. This tastes great and has the added benefit of boosting your fat burning potential.
- Look for more sources of fibre. This will help to maintain a healthy bowel, but fibre is another great food for making you feel fuller for longer. It is also calorie free so make sure you get a good fix of fibre at the start of the day - porridge flavored with cinnamon is a great way to start the day
Monitor your progress. Keep a record of how you are getting on - otherwise how are you going to know!

Fitness Health Tip
Everybody dreams of being healthy, beautiful and fit. The first fitness health tip is to believe that we are what we eat. Eat healthy and one will be healthy and beautiful. Healthy eating means eating three regular balanced meals-breakfast, lunch and dinner daily and making sure that each meal is a combination of carbohydrate and protein foods. Meals should include cereals, pulses, milk or curd, eggs, chicken, fish, fruits and vegetables.
There is a fitness health tip which may come as a pleasant surprise and that is- Adding sugar is not a crime. Three to four teaspoon of sugar a day is permitted if one is not diabetic. Finally, the whole secret of fitness and weight control rests on how much oil is consumed daily and how much fatty foods are eaten in a day. The normal requirement is 2-3 or 3-4 teaspoons oil per person per day. One may indulge in richer food twice in a week.
Everybody from six years and above must ensure that a regular exercise session is fixed in the daily routine. A 20-30 minutes walk must be taught and practiced as regularly as brushing the teeth and bathing. It is also important to avoid too many soft drinks and packed juices which most of us prefer and stock in our refrigerator. It not only increases our body weight but also harms our teeth and skin. Rather we should resolve to drink plenty of water.

Fun and Quick Exercise!
Here's THE Best Way to Exercise...PERIOD! And, also my favorite ;)
"Impulse Exercise"
It Can:
-Be done anywhere!
-Be done any time!
-Be done by anyone!
-Be FUN!
-Get your Heart Rate WAY up!
-Work A Lot Of Muscles!
SO What Exactly IS This Revolutionary Exercise?
Well, it's really Not hard or complicated...at All!
What the heck is Impulse Exercise? I know you guys (and girls!) are thinking, "I have my gym routine! I pack up the bag, make the shake, and I'm Gone!"
The thing is.. you always prepare and you always get ready, but by the time you are out the door, or by the time you get there, you don't even want to go anymore! Or, you get there and you're like, "I don't even 'feel' like it now..." which is exactly what your body does not want (in the long run).
Do you think 10,000 years ago you could just prepare for anything physical?
No.
You would eat or be eaten, run or be run over (no, not by car...this is 10,000 years ago!! It just means that you have to be quick and decisive). I highly recommend you adopt this "caveman" or "paleo" way of thinking.
Anyways, back to Impulse Exercise, Here's how to do it:
Anytime, Anywhere, I instantly Bust Out, Whip Out, or Crank Out:
-Pushups
-Squats
-Jumping jacks
-Butt Kickers (Self-explanatory)
-Crab Walks (walk on your hands and feet with your butt facing the ground)
-Sprints
And a host of other random, unorthodox exercises.
That's it!
I also call this muscle confusion on steroids.
Your body doesn't even see it coming, so it gets your primal heartrate WAY up, because you are literally tricking your body into thinking it's going to be eaten!
It's a GREAT Cardio (Heart Rate Increase for Heart Health and Fat Loss) and Strength Training Workout (Actually WORKS functional muscles - unlike regular weight lifting) ALL in One!
Most of you probably already know what cardio is... but what do I mean by functional muscles and muscle confusion?
I mean that it's literally the opposite of boring, mundane, running on a cushioned, boring (did I say that yet?!) treadmill or sidewalk (obviously a sidewalk's not very cushioned, and it's hard on your knees/ankle/feet) which usually results in quitting.
SUMMARY:
So, I told you about what you can do...so the question is...WHY AREN'T YOU DOING IT!
Haha, just kidding. But seriously, this can save you A LOT of time and A LOT of money on that gym membership and the time you waste on the internet looking for that new, simple way to exercise, because honestly, I strongly believe this is IT. Hope that helped and Stay Tuned!
