How to Make an All-Natural Air Freshener

Air freshening didn't begin yesterday. They have been with us for hundreds of years now. You've probably heard what incense is, and it is still burnt to mask less pleasant odors in a house. Incense is the father of most modern air fresheners. However, present-day fresheners employ sophisticated chemistry involving complex synthetic products that pollute the air and cause various health problems.

Luckily, there is another way you can get rid of the odor in your home. These simple natural air-freshener alternatives will scrub out all unwanted odors from your home and leave the place smelling naturally pleasant.

Essence of Vali Botanical Mists

These mists are made entirely from essential botanical oils. The only additive here is distilled water. No chemical propellants are used to manufacture the mist; a pump-like spritzer is used to dispense the air-freshener. With Vali botanical mists, there's a variety of 10 scents to choose from. There is even a diffuser blend that can be utilized in any standard aromatherapy.

Only natural essential botanical oils and distilled water are blended to give you Essence of Vali Botanical mists available in 10 different scents for your home.

Vodka

Vodka can be used alongside your favorite natural essential oils for a fresh-smelling home. The active component in vodka is ethyl alcohol. Most commercial air fresheners use ethyl alcohol alongside other chemicals to clean the air. Vodka can, therefore, be used to eliminate musty odors from your home without clogging the air with harmful synthetic chemicals and petroleum-derived propellants found in artificial fragrances.

Simply spray vodka directly into the air. It absorbs unpleasant odors and leaves no smell when it dries. You can also add in up to 30 drops of your preferred essential oil for a naturally pleasing scent

Palm Trees

Sure a beach vacation will get you away from the stuffy indoor air but this is not what this is all about. A palm tree as an indoor plant is an efficient air purifier. Having one or two of this in the living room, for example, will leave the place always looking and smelling natural and fresh. A palm tree will, for instance, absorb the formaldehyde smell in wall paints, finishes on furniture and glues used to hold particles boards together.

Other houseplants such as Dwarf date, areca, bamboo, lady, and parlor palm are an easy way to purify the air in your home.

Moso Natural Air Purifier

This is a bag of activated bamboo charcoal which unlike many air-fresheners does not mask, but rather filters the air. As such they will absorb unwanted odors and scrub off nasty suspensions floating in the air inside your home including allergens, bacteria, chloroform gas, benzene, formaldehyde, and ammonia.

You can use Moso Natural Air Purifier for years after which you simply throw the charcoal into your garden since it is 1000% biodegradable.
